Welcome to the Jeanine Schultz School website! 

Our School is a dynamic, highly structured, special education treatment program which serves a wide range of emotionally disturbed, learning disabled, behaviorally disordered and autistic children from 3 to 21 years of age.  

What We Do

   The school is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and approved by the Illinois State Board of Education; which entitles us to issue both eighth grade and high school diplomas.  The curriculum is individualized while reaching a diverse population of students through modified and adaptive programming.

   We provide a therapeutic milieu targeted at maintaining a safe, consistent environment enabling some of the most troubled students an opportunity to learn and grow.

Our Research is always Current...

We provide on-going tracking of individual behavior data which is aggregated by a behavioral analyst.  This data is provided to better assist the student in all aspects of learning and development.

Highlights:

• Many students demonstrate antecendent behaviors before acting out that can sometimes be controlled.    
• Teachers can use this data to better plan and provide for their students. 
• The children have visual understanding of their behavioral deficits. 
• It provides all involved with the student an opportunity to witness progress being made toward their behavioral goals.
